Sam was a College Professor for some twenty-five years teaching Textile Engineering and Technology. He wrote a number of textbooks and educated generations of undergraduate and graduate students. Although he now devotes his time to Boots and Saddles in Sedona, he still (rarely) consult to companies developing textile components that are implanted into the human body. Sam is also a chef that greatly enjoys cooking for his guests. His breakfast creations are unique and as he puts it “I will not feed my guests anything they can order at Denny’s”.
What a rest! What a place! Thanks Sam for the incredible food and superb hospitality. Since this was our first vacation in 3 years we are very sad to go but feel we have made friends anew. We will be back.

Our stay here at Boots and Saddles has been an unforgettable one and it won’t be the last. We haven’t stopped smiling since we arrived. The personal attention – from the in-room massage, to the chocolate chip cookies, to the bubble baths – it has all been wonderful. Most of all we’ve enjoyed your company and getting to know you! Until our next visit…

This has been a memorable week for us. The room is very comfortable and romantic! Breakfasts were an adventure and done with style. Most importantly was your graciousness. Keep up the good work.
